Matlock is the most uncompromising shoe here. A hand-woven leather upper - real interlaced strips, not an emboss - is crossed by a broad strap loaded with oversized metal studs and plates, and a contrast leather chevron panel sits at the throat beneath it. Every element is deliberately oversized.

The weave keeps the shoe breathable and gives it an artisanal base that the hardware then argues with, which is exactly the tension the design is built on.
