Melide is the nubuck version of the summer mule, and the material change matters. Nubuck is full-grain leather buffed to a fine nap, so it holds a firmer shape than suede while keeping the same matte, soft-touch surface - the vamp stays upright instead of collapsing after a few wears.

The moccasin apron seam is stitched by hand around the toe, the instep is cut low, and the whole upper sits on a thick moulded cupsole that carries the weight of a full day on foot. A leather sock inside means no socks are needed. Melide is the nubuck mule for men who want the ease of a slipper with a shoe that actually keeps its shape.
